A consumer Mailing list is a specialized list which targets individuals instead of entire address blocks. A consumer database search allows you as the customer to find specific individuals that meet much targeted demographics.
A consumer mailing adddress includes individual names and addresses. This individual targeting produces a higher postage rate, and the cost of the list increases as well. Since the addresses are not concentrated in carrier routes additional sorting and processing by the USPS must occur, and therefore the postage increases.
A consumer database search can seek out the following demographic information; each search is compromised of geographical means as in a residential list, so carrier routes, zip codes and radius searches are still the norm.
A map is produced to look for geographical boundaries and obstacles in concert with the same rules and notes in a residential mailing list.
